Spiritual Warriorship practices are highly influenced by African worldviews and traditions that encourage respect and connection to the Earth. Our ancestors wisdom has survived on the Motherland and in the knowledge bases of the original Black people of the Earth. Spiritual Warriorship is about harnessing the power of both our individual and collective ancestral remembrances as the foundations for justice, healing, and global ecological restoration.

Incorporating spirituality into leadership practices is not a new concept. Many prominent leaders owe their success to the power of calling on the people's individual and collective spirit and the power of Creation. Noteable examples include Sojourner Truth, El Hajj Malik El Shabazz , Alice Auma, Nat Turner, Martin Luther King Jr., Ella Baker, Muhammad Ali, Harriet Tubman, Nelson Mandela, Hatshepsut, Peter Tosh, Fannie Lou Hamer, Imhotep, Queen Nanny and many other remarkable ancestors were Spiritual Warriors committed to healing justice and spirituality.
